Tamannaah Bhatia questioned by ED:
Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia was summoned by the Maharashtra cyber cell in April 2024 for the questioning. Now, almost after 6 months, the Bollywood Diva was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate Department (ED) in Guwahati for her involvement in the IPL betting case of 2023.
Tamannaah was allegedly involved in promoting the Mahadev Betting App, which did a scam of hundreds of crores from illegal steaming of the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. It's not just Bhatia, but many other popular Bollywood celebrities have been grilled by the ED and cyber cell in the same case.

Tamannaah Bhatia was present at the Ed office on Thursday afternoon along with her mother. The questioning went on for hours, and the actress was reportedly very cooperative throughout the questioning process. However, no official statement has been released from the department or the actress yet.
The officers have now found links with the FairPlay app, which is the subsidiary app for the Mahadev Betting App and offers multiple ideas of gambling, such as sports betting, online betting, and steaming. Many Bollywood celebrities were linked to the owners of this app and also attended the party hosted by them. For that, they were questioned by the government officials and have stayed away from it since then.
