The Marvels has seen the lowest opening for any film in the Marvel cinematic universe till date. The film has a disappointing weekend collection of $47 million, while the pre-release projections were at $55 million.

This is an all-time low number for any MCU film ever. The previous lowest was achieved by The Incredible Hulk in 2008. That film had an opening weekend gross of $55.4 million when the MCU was not born properly.publive-imageAnt-Man (2015) missed the record by $2 million only, and since then no MCU flick has gone close to Hulk's unadjusted inflation numbers. Now, The Marvels has done it.
