The Marvels

The Marvels Box Office: Marvel Studios' latest female superhero flick, "The Marvels," opened with $21.5 million on Friday. The film has had a dismal start considering the huge budget and the MCU's superior run for more than a decade.

The female superhero flick collected $6.6 million in previews, which gave a pretty good idea of its overall run in the opening weekend and week. The film is projected to earn $47–52 million in the opening weekend, which will turn out to be MCU's lowest opening in the last 15 years or might even create a new all-time low record.

Brie Larson's solo outing, Captain Marvel (2019), had a weekend gross of $153 million. The Marvels are looking to settle for one-third of it.

The preview low records for MCU go back in time to their beginning era in 2008. The Incredible Hulk had an opening day of $21.4 million and an opening weekend of $55.4 million. The Marvels is flirting with these unwanted records.
