The trailer for Kangana Ranaut's "Tiku Weds Sheru," starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, was launched today at an event. The film is the love story of a mismatched couple surrounded by a chaos of gangsters, ambitions, and tragedies. See it below:
As we see it, Tiku Weds Sheru is a comedy and a pretty funny film. But the problem appears in the script, as those conflicts seem messy and outdated. The trailer has revealed some details about the characters and the issues they face. Tiku and Sheru's love story also does not reflect the features we expect from an odd couple (something that we saw in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi).
Tiku Weds Sheru was planned way back in 2014 with Kangana and Irrfan Khan, which didn't happen. The same script needed a little polishing here. Directed by Sai Kabir, Tiku Weds Sheru will be streaming on Prime Video from June 23, 2023.
