After taking a short breather post the release of his pet project RA.One, Shah Rukh Khan was recently in Düsseldorf , Germany to attend the UNESCO Charity-Gala 2011. The Indian superstar not only took over the sponsorship for the Indian children at the event but was also honoured by the organisation.
SRK gave the details of award bestowed upon him by UNESCO on the micro-blogging site Twitter. "Gala at dusseldorf. The unesco award is called Pyramide con Marni and I am super excited cos education for kids is most dear cause to me."
Shah Rukh attended the event along with the likes of Mikhail Gorbachev, Noami Cambell and Ute Ohoven amongst others.
"Garbochev...naomi campbell...whittaker...dr. Ohoven has done such a grand job.chris de burgh just sang...having a different kind of fun...," wrote SRK
Shah Rukh also met international film star and Chinese martial artist Jet Li at the event.
Khan excitedly tweted, "Now my son will know Im way cooler than he thot. With my favourite star mr. Jet li...yay!! too happy,"
King Khan is now headed towards Morocco and he revealed his plans on his page writing,"Next stop morocco..marrakesh...its good not to be working and just travelling...new ppl...new thots..."
