'Uunchai' Gathers Speed Over The Weekend; Inches Close To The 10 Crore Mark In Less Than 500 Screens —

Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai showed an excellent jump in the collections after a below-average opening day. The friendship drama saw a jump of around 95% on the second day and then again a positive jump on its third day.

Released on just 483 screens, Uunchai collected 1.70 crore nett on opening day. The second-day trend went upward as the collections reached almost double heights. Now, Sunday has brought another solid growth for the film, with collections of 4.35 crore nett. However, the real test begins today, and if it can hold tight, it can have a decent total by the end of the week.
