Marathi movie Ved has done some mad business at the box office and will continue to do so for a week or two. The Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh's love story has now crossed the 40 crore nett mark at the box office to enter the top 3 highest Marathi grossers of all time.
Interestingly, this low-budget Marathi flick has surpassed the Bollywood biggie Cirkus at the box office, which is a shocking thing. Cirkus has done a business of around 35 crore nett till now and will wrap up below the 40 crore nett mark, whereas Ved is poised to do a business of 60 crore nett or even more. The last time a Marathi movie collected more than a Bollywood movie was in 2016, when Sairat collected a record-breaking 93 crore and Baaghi did the business of 76 crore nett.Below are the collections of Ved:
