Tom Hardy's third flick as Venom, Venom The Last Dance, is off to a decent start in the previews, but things aren't looking encouraging as far as the trade projections go. The film earned approx. $8.5 million in previews at the North American box office, which started at 2 p.m. at 3,452 locations.
Venom 4 is looking for $180 million opening weekend at the global box office, while the domestic market is set to underperform. The previous film of the franchise, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, had opened with $171.6 million in 2021, during the pandemic effect.
