Veteran Actor Vikram Gokhale Passes Away At 82 Due To Illness -

Veteran actor from Marathi and Hindi cinema, Vikram Gokhale, passed away today at the age of 82.

Vikram Gokhale was born on 14th November 1945 and his father, Chandrakant Gokhale, was a renowned actor. Vikram Gokhale acted in about 97 films in his career and numerous TV serials. He was very active on stage as well. In February 2016, due to a throat ailment, Gokhale retired from stage activities as his voice couldn't reach the last row in the auditorium, and he denied taking artificial help for that.Vikram Gokhale was last seen in the Bollywood flick Nikamma (2022) and then the Marathi film Godavari (2022), which was released a couple of weeks ago. The legendary actor has left a mark in many films over the years, such as Agneepath (1990), Maherchi Sadi (1991), Khuda Gawah (1992), Balwaan (1992), Lapandaav (1993), Andolan (1995), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), Hey Ram (2000), Champion (2000), Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke (2001), Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein (2002), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Anumati (2013), Natsamrat (2016), Hichki (2018) and Mission Mangal (2019).
