Veteran Hindi Actor Javed Khan Amrohi Passes Away —

Veteran Bollywood actor Javed Khan Amrohi, popularly known for his supporting roles in Bollywood movies and TV shows, passed away just a while ago. He started working in films in 1973 and was last seen in the Bollywood flick Sadak 2 (2020).

Javed Khan Amrohi has acted in various films in Hindi cinema, amounting to more than 155 films. He is best known for his roles in the Oscar-nominated film Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001), the cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna (1994), and the classic sports drama Chak De! India (2007).

Javed has also worked in TV series like Mirza Ghalib, directed by Gulzar, and as Karim (the barber) in Nukkad, directed by Saeed Akhtar Mirza. The news of his demise was shared by actor Akhilendra Mishra. We pray for his soul to rest in peace.
