YRF To Launch Vicky Kaushal As Next Singing Superstar Bhajan Kumar This Week For The Great Indian Family

Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing the lead role in YRF's upcoming family comedy, The Great Indian Family, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. As a part of a unique promotional campaign, Yash Raj Films will be unveiling Vicky Kaushal as the next big singing superstar, "Bhajan Kumar," in a grand event in Mumbai.

A source close to the development reveals, "YRF will unveil Bhajan Kumar at a spectacular event in Mumbai this week. The production house has discovered some of the most special actors and music icons in the history of its existence, and all eyes are on YRF to showcase who this new singing sensation is. Bhajan Kumar will be presented in all his glory at a glitzy media event on August 30th".

"As the name suggests, Bhajan Kumar’s proficiency is in devotional music, and YRF will showcase his singing talent at a live event designed to present him in front of the media. Bhajan Kumar is expected to captivate audiences with his brilliant singing skills, and YRF will now have the bragging rights to present a singing sensation like never before in him!" the source adds.

The Great Indian Family stars Vicky Kaushal, Manushi Chhillar, Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, and others. The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who helmed YRF projects like Tashan, Dhoom 3, and Thugs of Hindostan. The family comedy is set to be released on September 22, 2023.
