Welcome 3 Shoot To Come To A Halt? FWICE Appeals to Akshay Kumar and Others Not To Shoot The Film Before The Previous 2 Crore Dues Are Paid—

Welcome 3's shoot might come to a halt as FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) has issued a non-cooperative directive against producer Firoz Nadiadwala. According to the directive, Firoz hasn't paid Rs. 2 crore to Anees Bazmee for the previous film of the franchise, "Welcome Back" (2015).

Welcome Back was produced by Firoz Nadiadwala and directed by Anees Bazmee. The film was a commercial success even though it couldn't manage to become a clean hit like its predecessor, Welcome (2007). Firoz had given a Rs. 2 crore cheque to Anees Bazmee, which was bounced. He is yet to pay the said amount.FWICE has come out in support of Bazmee and appealed to Akshay Kumar, the other actors, and the technicians of Welcome 3 not to shoot the film until Bazmee gets his dues. FWICE has also written to Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios about the same and asked her not to kick off the next film before previous dues are cleared. Will this matter be closed soon so that Welcome To The Jungle can go floors peacefully?

The film is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2024.
